This course deals with the fundamental concepts of general pathology; basic disease processes, correlating the etiology of disease with the period of development of anatomic and clinical changes brought about by the disease, vital principles of histopathologic techniques; preparation of tissue slides and special staining procedures for diagnosis and primary techniques in cytology for evaluation of disease states.
