Practical Research 1 is an applied subject of the Senior High School students (Grade 11) under the K-to-12 basic education curriculum designed by the Department of Education.
This Instructional Learning Guide (ILG) is a counterpart of learning modules. As the primary instructional material in Practical Research 1, this ILG was designed for the students to provide them an understanding of the basic concepts of research. It also aims to enhance students’ research skills, particularly in the conduct of qualitative research and in the preparation of research reports. This covers the first and second quarter topics and subtopics for the whole semester, and which are then clustered through modules.
To help fulfill the educational goals set by the Department of Education as well as this institution, the concepts covered in this instructional learning guide strictly adhered to the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs) and Course Outline developed by the Department of Education and of the institution respectively.
