The course is intended for grade 8:The course is designed to understand basic concepts and processes in Biotechnology as deepen by other disciplines, to analyzed/solve problems critically, think innovative/creatively and make informed decisions to enhance the integrity and wellness of the human person, protect the environment and conserve resources in order to sustain the quality of life.

This curriculum guide on Handicraft (Needle Craft) course is designed for a high school student to develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes to perform the tasks on Needle Craft.  It covers core competencies namely: (1) Understand concepts and terms of the different types of Needlecraft; (2) Perform basic and advances stitches of the different types of Needlecrafts; (3) Develop a project plan; (4) Create marketable and presentable product package for the Needle crafted articles and (5) Observe proper posture, safety and precautionary measures while working on a Needlecraft project.


This Instructional Learning Guide for the subject English in Perspective 8 has been prepared to address the needs of our learners in the Distance Learning Strategy. The contents of this guide has been carefully planned and reviewed to suit the learning styles of our students. This guide is a collection of lectures from different authors of English in Perspective 8 textbook and references that is deemed appropriate and useful for students to acquire knowledge and skills for the subject.

Ang Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao 8, ay nagbibigay-diin sa Katatagan ng Pamilya at Pakikipagkapuwa bilang pangunahing pagpapahalaga sa pagkataong Pilipino. Inaasahang maipamamalas moa ng pag-unawa sa layunin at kahalagahan ng pagpapanatali ng isang metatag na pamilya at ang pakikipagkapuwa sa pagakakaroon ng makabuluhang buhay sa lipunan.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

                 Sumasaklaw ang kursong ito sa mga mahahalagang konsepto, babasahin, praktika, at teorya tungkol sa panitikang Pilipino. Ilan sa mga ito ay ang mga iba’t ibang panitikan na matatagpuan sa Pilipinas at ang mga kulturang nakapaloob dito. Nasasalamin din dito ang mga pagpapahalagang Pilipino na kumakatawan sa mga aral na kinakailangan upang maging isang tunay na Pilipino. Nalilinang din sa tulong nito ang mga kasanayan na kinakailangan sa paghubog ng isang mabuting indidwal na kinakailangan upang mapanatili ang mga natatanging pagkakailanlan ng mga Pilipino sa larangan ng kultura, sibilisasyon, at sining. Makatutulong din ang kursong ito sa pagpapayabong ng likas na katangian ng mga Pilipino hindi lamang sa buong Pilipinas kundi rin sa buong mundo.

This course will provide the students the knowledge and skills on how to make the study of mathematics both meaningful and logical. This will also help the students to be fully equipped with adequate learning competencies necessary to become mathematically literate citizens.

This course will provide an understanding of the basic concepts of mathematics as applied in business. It includes a review of the fundamental mathematics operations using decimals, fractions, percent, ratio and proportion; mathematics concepts and skills in buying and selling, computing gross and net earnings, overtime and business data presentation, analysis and interpretation. The use of computer and software applications for computation and data presentation is encouraged.

MAPEH 8 will let the learner understand the salient features of the music and arts of the Philippines and the world, through appreciation, analysis and performance, for self-development, the celebration of Filipino cultural identity and diversity, and the expansion of one’s world vision. Integrated physical activity behaviors in achieving lifestyle. Help how to appropriately manage concerns during puberty to achieve holistic health.


This course is intended for Grade 8. Learners can describe the factors that affect the motion of an object based on the Laws of Motion. They can differentiate the concept of work as used in science and in layman’s language.  They know the factors that affect the transfer of energy, such as temperature difference, and the type (solid, liquid, or gas) of the medium.  Learners can explain how active faults generate earthquakes and how tropical cyclones originate from warm ocean waters. They recognize other members of the solar system. Learners can explain the behavior of matter in terms of the particles it is made of. They recognize that ingredients in food and medical products are made up of these particles and are absorbed by the body in the form of ions. Learners recognize reproduction as a process of cell division resulting in growth of organisms. They have delved deeper into the process of digestion as studied in the lower grades, giving emphasis on proper nutrition for overall wellness. They can participate in activities that protect and conserve economically important species used for food.


Ang asignatura na ito sa Araling Panlipunan 8: Kasaysayan ng Daigdig ay para sa antas ng Junior High School. Ito ay nakabatay sa Basic Education Curriculum na nagpapatupad ng programang k-12.

          Layunin ng asignatura na ito na malinang ang kakayahan ng mga estudyante sa ika-21 siglo tulad ng komunikasyon, kolaborasyon, kritikal na pagsusuri, at pagkamalikhain sa pamamagitan ng paghahain sa kanila ng iba’t-ibang gawain na susubok sa kanilang mga kakayahan.

          Naglalaman ang bawat aralin dito ng mahahalagang pag-unawa na sumasaklaw sa iba’t-ibang tema na mas nagpapalalim sa pagintindi ng mga estudyante sa pandaigdigang heograpiya, kasaysayan, kultura, pamahalaan, at ekonomiya lalo na sa panahon ng globalisasyon. Inaasahang ang mga pag-unawang ito ang magbubukas ng kanilang kaisipanat gagabay sa kanila sa pagharap sa mga hamon at suliranin na kanilang haharapin sa buhay.
