Hello and Welcome to your Mycology & Virology subject. This subject entails the principles of Microbiology in particular Virology - the study of viruses and Mycology - the study of Fungi.
This course will provide an overview of principles to research in particular research topic areas. It will also provide a forum for scientists involved in research in particular topic areas to discuss their research, environment, and careers with students.
This course encompasses the general fundamental concepts and principles of clinical chemistry with aspects of biological and analytical. It includes enzymology, electrolytes, acid-base balance, vitamins, trace elements, tumor markers, endocrinology, toxicology and therapeutic drug monitoring. Though it is a continuation, it demonstrates more complex testing in the laboratory to consist of the physiological basis for the test, specimen type, tests principles, expected values, sources of error, limitations of the test and disease correlation.
