The MLS Internship Program is an intensive practical and theoretical training in the different sections in the Clinical Laboratory namely:  Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Bacteriology, Blood banking/ Serology, Clinical microscopy, Histopathology. It also emphasizes the development of proper value system and requires the student-interns to finish 1664 hours.

The Internship Program is then divided into two phases: Internship 1 (combination of virtual and actual phases in collaboration with Emilio Aguinaldo Medical Center, Cavite City) and Internship 2 (interns shall be deployed at Cagayan Valley Medical Center). A lot of considerations are given to ensure the safety of our students in the delivery of the MLS Internship Program to ensure that they will be given the required skills and competencies expected in an MLS/ MT student despite the threat of the Covid-19 pandemic.
