This course is an introduction to the concepts of research and designed to ensure that students will be able conduct to the development of a research plan appropriate for and undergraduate study and a beginner in conducting researches. Discussion is based on selected readings, research studies and research experiences of the students. This also presents the basics of research that students must know specially the steps they need to follow in order for them to conduct their own study. It specifically presents the contribution of research studies in health and the specific role of research in health development. This shall be very helpful to students as beginners for them to understand the role of research in health education.

This subject deals with the study of Management in the Radiology department of a health care facility. This presents different leadership styles suitable to the needs of the department and the personnel working in it. It also discusses different organizational management and behavior. It ensures student understanding of the important role of each individual in the success of the department specially in following protocols of the organizations. This shall also provide students with insights of the current situation in different radiology departments of hospitals. This subject shall help prepare the student to the different challenges that lie ahead in his journey in the chosen field of specialization.


      This course provides a foundation of the laws and regulations, professional ethics, relevant medical jurisprudence and other legal ethical concerns related to the practice of Radiologic Technology. This includes examination of a variety of ethical and legal issues found in clinical practice as well as diverse issues that affect the radiologic technologist as an individual and interactions with patients, coworkers and community with respect for their beliefs and values.
